A rank is a record of what you put in, not of how long you have been around. Nothing is bought, and nothing moves for turning up — it moves when something you made is in the academy and has stayed there.

A block is never written from research. It starts as something already built and sold — the decisions, the order they were taken in, and the ones that turned out to be wrong. All five are finished.

The room adds to it
A proposal is a section the five do not cover and should. It is read, argued with, and if it holds up it is built and merged into the main course with your name on it.

It keeps moving
Nothing here is frozen. Prices move, tools shut down, a step stops working that way. Whoever notices first fixes it, and their name goes on the fix.

A price that moved, a tool that shut down, a step that no longer works that way. The fastest contribution there is, and the one that keeps the academy worth paying for.

A credit is the unit the academy counts contributions in. It cannot be bought and it does not expire — it is only ever earned, and what it buys back is the academy itself.

The first thing credits buy is time. Enough of them and your next month costs nothing — for as long as you keep putting something in.

A lower price, kept
Past a threshold the price itself comes down and stays down. Someone who builds the academy does not pay what someone who only reads it pays.

Hardware, licences, tickets. Things that arrive in a box, sent to the people who put the most in — not a badge on a profile.

Partner rates
The tools you build with, at rates negotiated for the academy rather than for one person: hosting, design, analytics. Credits open them tier by tier.

You work on the academy, not only in it.
Paid. A share of what the academy earns once it charges, and first refusal on the roles that open — here, or on a Maderly project.
What it pays
Nothing today. A share of the revenue for the top two ranks once the academy charges. Work, for the ones who go further than that.
None of that money exists yet, and the price it would come from is not set. It is written here now rather than announced later, so you can decide with it in view — and so it is on record.
